There was a Force to be reckoned with in Bulldogs

Press Enterprise Sports Editor
By the time Berwick girls volleyball player Zoey Force finished her senior season, she transformed herself into an all-state caliber player.
The senior Bulldog and record setter for digs was all over the court and was one of many reasons why Berwick reached the state semifinals. For her efforts, Force has been named the 2025 Press Enterprise’s girls volleyball MVP.

Her 321 digs this season was tops for a Bulldogs squad that once again led with their defense.

Sunday forecast

“Friday’s warm spell melted most of the snow on the ground locally, but don’t give up on a White Christmas yet. A storm passing through from Monday night to Tuesday morning is currently expected to drop a coating to an inch of snow on our area, AccuWeather says. But there’s a slight chance it could also drop 1-3 inches.

“The bad news? With temperatures expected to crest 40 on Tuesday, and a chance of rain, that expected snow may not stick around.

“Meanwhile, expect today to be in the upper 30s but windy.”
