PETER KENDRON
Editor in Chief
Pete Kendron is editor of the Press Enterprise, overseeing the newsroom, writing the paper’s daily editorials, and refereeing 30 Seconds. He spent a decade covering Bloomsburg as a reporter, and five years as managing editor. Born and raised in Buffalo, N.Y., he's been with the paper since 2001.

DAN REILLY
Sports Editor
Sports editor Dan Reilly is a 2009 graduate from Kutztown University with a degree in English/Professional Writing. Reilly is also an '05 graduate from Central Columbia High School. Dan, who has been honored for his writing by the Pennsylvania Newspaper Association, has been with the Press Enterprise since August '09 after interning with Berkshire Baseball Club in Womelsdorf during his senior year at Kutztown.

M.J. MAHON
Bloomsburg Writer
M.J. Mahon joined the news staff as a photographer after graduating from Western Kentucky University in 2001. In 2021, she traded her camera for a laptop and now covers the Town of Bloomsburg and surrounding communities. She probably drinks too much coffee and will tell you all about her dogs, Porter and Wicket — even if you didn't ask.

ARTHUR DOWELL
Assistant Sports Editor
Arthur Dowell is a 2014 graduate of Misericordia University, where he earned his degree in communications. A sports fan, Dowell has provided a wide range of sports coverage for various media outlets, winning writing and page design awards. He has been with the Press Enterprise since 2019, after leaving his post as the assistant sports editor for The Lewistown Sentinel.

LEON BOGDAN
Reporter
A Shamokin native, Bogdan is the Press Enterprise's senior writer. He covers courtroom proceedings. Outside work, he enjoys Boston sports teams and Mexican beer.

SUSAN SCHWARTZ
Berwick Reporter
Susan Schwartz grew up in Colorado. She moved to Pennsylvania in 1996 with plans to stay a year, but fell in love with the stories she found here. She believes knowledge is power — with enough information, people can solve any problem.

JIM SACHETTI
Former Editor in Chief
Jim Sachetti has been a newsman for 40 years, 27 as editor of the Press Enterprise. He wrote the paper's daily editorial and the Roses and Thorns columns Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Jim retired in 2020.
